1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website and services offered by VLC BK SL ("we," "our," or "us"), operating at CARRER DE GARRIGUES 17, 46001 Valencia, Spain. By accessing our website and using our bike rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bike Rental Services
2.1 Booking Process
- All bike rentals must be booked through our Fare Harbor booking system.
- You will receive electronic confirmation of your booking and a rental contract.
- No user account is necessary to make a reservation.
2.2 Age Restrictions
- All renters must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid identification will be required at the time of pickup.
2.3 Payment Terms
- Payment must be made at the time of booking through Fare Harbor.
- We accept all payment methods supported by Fare Harbor.
- All prices are in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes.
2.4 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time are free of charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time will be charged 100% of the rental fee.
- All cancellations must be made through Fare Harbor or by contacting us directly.
3. Bike Use and Responsibilities
3.1 Proper Use
- Renters must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations in Valencia.
- Bikes are to be used only within Valencia city limits.
- Bikes should be used on designated bike paths and roads where cycling is permitted.
3.2 Prohibited Activities
- Subletting or transferring the bike to another person
- Modifying or altering the bike in any way
- Using the bike for any illegal purposes
- Using the bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Using the bike in dangerous conditions (extreme weather, unsafe terrain)
4. Damage and Theft
4.1 Insurance Option
- An optional insurance is available for 5 euros.
- With insurance, the renter is responsible for 50% of the bike value (175 EUR) in case of theft.
- Without insurance, the renter is responsible for 100% of the bike value (350 EUR) in case of theft.
4.2 Reporting Requirements
- Any damage or theft must be reported immediately:

- Failure to report damage or theft promptly may result in additional charges.
4.3 Liability
- The renter is responsible for the bike during the entire rental period.
- The renter is liable for any damage caused by improper use.
- VLC BK SL is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred while using our bikes.
5. Return Policy
- Bikes must be returned to our location at CARRER DE GARRIGUES 17, 46001 Valencia by the agreed return time.
- Late returns will incur additional hourly charges.
- Bikes must be returned in the same condition as when rented, allowing for normal wear and tear.
6. Identity Verification
- All renters must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of pickup.
- The ID must match the name provided during the booking process.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if proper identification cannot be provided.
7. Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, VLC BK SL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of our services.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific rental transaction.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
- Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.
- Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Valencia, Spain.
